I’m still hiking in Southern California so I headed to Volcan Mountain Wilderness Preserve outside Julian to hike Volcan Mountain Trail (5,353ft).

While spending time in southern California visiting my family, I looked around for the best San Diego hikes and found Potato Chip Rock Trail on Mount Woodson in the Lake Poway Recreation Area.

I was so honored to join my dear friends, and soon to be family members, Caroline and Dale at their intimate wedding in Idyllwild, California. They could not have picked a more beautiful location to get married in Southern California’s most beautiful hidden mountain town.

Never heard of Idyllwild? Get ready to fall in love with this mountain oasis just 2.5 hours east of Los Angeles.

Today I’m solo hiking the most difficult hiking trail in Los Angeles I’ve hiked, Echo Mountain via Rubio Canyon. AllTrails rates this trail as Difficult and they aren’t kidding because it’s basically a 1400 foot ascent straight up the mountain.

If you’ve ever wondered where to hike in Los Angeles or Burbank, let me introduce you to my favorite hiking trail in LA: Vital Link Trail to Verdugo Peak in Wildwood Canyon. This Burbank hiking trail is a toughy, but on a clear day you get gorgeous 360 views of the San Fernando Valley, Angeles National Forest, and even Downtown LA. It’s a steep hike, and for sure one of the hardest hikes in LA, in my opinion though, 100 percent worth it!

Whats Malibu like? Today I’m showing you as I hike one of Malibu’s top scenic spots Corral Canyon Trail for a sunset Malibu hike. Malibu isn’t cheap, but one of the cheap things to do in Malibu is go hiking on one of the Malibu hiking trails. The Corral Canyon Trail offers amazing Malibu ocean views and if you’re wondering where to watch the sunset in Malibu, it’s a great spot!

If you’re wondering where to hike in Big Bear, California, Castle Rock Trail is a moderate 2.5 mile hike and is considered one of the best hikes in Big Bear because of the full 360 view of Big Bear Lake you get at the top of Castle Rock.
