Summer Camping Trip on the Au Sable River in Northern Michigan

Every July we head to Huron National Forest for a summer camping trip on the Au Sable River in Northern Michigan. It’s a weekend full of playing on the lake, skiing down sand dunes, and laughing around the campfire. If you’re looking for a summer camping trip in Northern Michigan, the Au Sable River in Huron National Forest is a great hidden camping spot. 

As a special treat my friend David took us flying over The Big House at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and downtown Detroit.
