Castle Rock Trail in Big Bear California | Relaxing Hiking Video
If you’re wondering where to hike in Big Bear, California, Castle Rock Trail is a moderate 2.5 mile hike and is considered one of the best hikes in Big Bear because of the full 360 view of Big Bear Lake you get at the top of Castle Rock.
Mostly steep at the beginning it isn’t too strenuous of a trail and has a lot of fun rock formations to explore. If you want to add some mileage to your hike you can go past Castle Rock and hike to the 2N10 service road, which is what I accidentally did, but it was worth it since there were fewer people on this part of the trail. One of the more popular hikes in Big Bear, Castle Rock Trail has everything you want in a California hike through the San Bernardino National Forest.

I really enjoy making these relaxing hiking videos. As a solo hiker it’s revitalizing to go on some outdoor adventures even if they’re only a couple hours. Walking on rocks and enjoying the nature hiking sounds of silent hiking videos is my form of ASMR. If you’re into hiking ASMR this is the best YouTube channel for you!
