Meramec Greenway Trail Hike Near St. Louis | Nature Hiking Sounds

Today I go on my first solo hiking trip which is an easy hike near St. Louis called the Al Foster Trail which is part of the Meramec Greenway Trail near Fenton, Missouri. Eventually this is what I want my YouTube channel to be, me going on hikes and other adventures around the world. I believe I’ll get there someday, but I’m starting with what’s around me which is the beautiful Missouri outdoors!

The Al Foster Trail is part of the Meramec Greenway Trail which lies along the Meramec River bottomlands park of St. Louis County’s 273-acre lower Meramec Park. During my solo hiking trek I explore the Meramec River, a dried creek bed, and climb to the top of some cliffs overlooking the valley.

There’s no talking on my hike as I simply enjoy the relaxing nature sounds of the Missouri wildlife. I didn’t add music to the video because for me the sounds of the woods and nature are my ASMR. It’s wonderful to be still and simply hear the sounds of walking on rocks through the wilderness.

The Al Foster Trail and the entire Meramec Greenway Trail system is an easy hike near St. Louis perfect for people wanting to escape the city for a few hours. I wouldn’t say it’s one of the best hiking trails in Missouri, but if you’re looking for outdoor activities nears St. Louis I recommend it!

This is the beginning of my YouTube journey and starting my YouTube channel. 2020 has been a crazy year, but it led us here. And for that I’m very grateful. Let’s do it y’all, let’s start a YouTube channel!
